David has delivered songwriting and music workshops across the UK and is currently working closely with various arts education companies to help and encourage new musicians.

For several years David was writing and performing under the pseudonym 'Araby'.

​David Mac's very first instrument was the drums, his first professional
tour was aged 16 at the Cork Jazz Festival with Bertie's Big Band.
David's current drumming project is with welsh musician The Honest Poet.
Together with the rest of the band they are re-imagining the Honest Poet's catalogue and creating brand new sounds.
