At the very beginning of lockdown, I lost my housemate and good friend Josh to Covid19.
Josh was a big part of our social group, specifically if we were playing board games. He would always insist that there should be zero leniency when it came to the rules. If we ever bent the rules slightly or messed around - Josh would say "hey dude!" and we often messed around and bent the rules so we heard it a lot! Josh was a big Harry Potter fan, so I've thrown in 2 references. The first is a lyric and the second is the celeste (instrument) that you hear - famously used for the Harry Potter theme. Josh also gave the biggest bear hugs, he was a taller than all of our friends and whenever he hugged you, your feet would leave the ground for sure. Josh's family suggested donations to the mental health charity MIND in leu of flowers, so all proceeds from this song will be contributed to josh. |
