I released the track my, my without the accompanying video because I planned to premiere the video for the first time during my live show.
I think this is my favourite track I've ever released (so far). It was a hodge-podge of sorts - I wrote and recorded the guitar and vocals in an afternoon on a whim, then when I was filming a string quartet in a church I asked if the violinist could quickly just jam along to it, then it turned out another musician was there with their flute, so I asked them to throw something into the mix. Then I got my trumpet player to send me a solo which I threw in.
Tobias had his work cut out as it was a bit all over the place when I sent it to him! But I really really like the end product. I'm chuffed with the video too, so I'm excited for the premiere.
